About the Authors

Dustin Curlee and Rafael J. Goyco are the authors of The Testimony of Two Witnesses. They spent decades inside Christianity studying, teaching, and serving, including in church leadership and study. Their book is a conversational, informal examination of the untenable features of Christianity. It is not here to tell readers what to believe, but to encourage them to examine how they believe.

Dustin Curlee

Dustin’s faith journey began in his early twenties. Over the years that followed he studied and taught Scripture, spent time in seminary, studied apologetics and theology, and served in church leadership in several roles, including youth pastor, deacon, elder, and pastor. The Testimony of Two Witnesses, co-written with Rafael J. Goyco, grew out of the questions that journey eventually raised.

Rafael J. Goyco

Rafael (Raf) grew up in a mostly nominal Catholic home and became serious about faith in college, where he was baptized again as a young adult. Across roughly thirty years he and his wife served and taught in several churches, while he pursued apologetics, theology, and biblical word studies. He co-wrote The Testimony of Two Witnesses with Dustin Curlee.
